Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi’s heist drama is busy casting its spell on the box office. The film is unstoppable at the ticket window, and is busy making moolah with each passing day. Interestingly, Milan Luthria’s directorial venture has already crossed the Rs 60-crore mark within six days of its release.
Baadshaho, which crossed the 50-crore mark on the fourth day, collected yet another Rs 4.30 crore on Wednesday, thus taking the total to Rs 60.54 crore.
After a gap of seven years, Emraan and Ajay have collaborated with filmmaker Milan Luthria for a film, and Baadshaho has lived up to the expectation of the fans. They last worked together on Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.
The heist drama set during the 1975 Emergency also features Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal. Baadshaho is about four “badasses” who are on a mission to recover a heavily-armoured truck full of Rajput queen Gitanjali Devi’s confiscated jewels, from the Army.
Baadshaho, the big release of last Friday, hit the screens alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. And both the films are raking in good moolah at the box office.
