Manoj Tiwari left Kapil’s show without shooting, know what is the reason?

Comedian Kapil Sharma again had to cancel his shoot and send back Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari. The actor-turned-politician had especially flown down from Delhi to Mumbai for a Bhojpuri special episode on TKSS.
Earlier, Kapil had cancelled shoots with Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and a few other actors due to his ill health, but this time it was due the ongoing strike of Federation of Western India Cine Employees’ (FWICE).
Manoj Tiwari spoke to DNA and told, “I was here for a day to shoot for a Bhojpuri episode on Kapil’s show. But I got a call from him saying the shooting has been cancelled.” When asked for the reason, he said, “It is the workers’ strike that has forced the shooting to be cancelled.”
The FWICE strike has affected many TV shows. A few days back, Kaun Banega Crorepati’s shoot had to be cancelled due to the strike.
Meanwhile, the producers and FWICE members have been meeting government authorities. Recently, producers like Ekta Kapoor and JD Majethia met Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis asking for protection for the workers to continue working on film and television set. While, on the other hand FWICE members met labour minister Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar to inform him about the injustice meted out to them by the producers. Nilangekar has promised to hold a joint meeting with both the parties
