The story portrays his character and motivation in the scene of battle.

Story:

Subedar Joginder Singh, is a biopic of a war hero who fought three major wars- The Second World War, the Indo-Pak war, and the Sino-Indian war 1962. This film is a true story of the 21 soldiers of the brave Sikh Regiment who were being commanded by Subedar Joginder Singh.

The War of 1962- The Sino-Indian was, lest we forget, a war which broke amidst Indian and China. On October 20, 1962 China had launched a massive attack on India, which the latter never suspected owing to the friendly ties between the two nations. India did not prepare for the war because of the make-believe fact engraved in the minds of Indians that Chinese would never attack. Consequently, this led to an unprecedented situation of war between a platoon of 21 men from the first battalion of the Sikh Regiment against numerous Chinese enemies.

Though, the Chinese being heavily outnumbered, Subedar Joginder Singh kept the morale of his men boosted. The Sikh soldiers stood strong against the Chinese attacks. The number of Sikh soldiers was eventually getting eliminated with each wave of attack. Subedar Joginder Singh, too was shot in the thigh. Despite that, he didn’t leave the battle field nor did he let the men leave. All through this, Subedar Joginder Singh displayed devotion towards his duty, kept his men motivated, and fought with bravery of highest order! Salute to this great man!

Star Performance:

Subedar Joginder movie have a major star cast with legend actors. Famous punjabi singer Gippy grewal as Subedar Joginder Singh done a brilliant job. Gippy gained his weight to look same as Subedar. Gippy Grewal shows army attitude , a soldier’s self-sacrifice and extraordinary bravery. Aditi Sharma plays Joginder Singh’s wife’s charcater. while legend actor Nirmal Rishi seen as Joginder Singh’s mother. No one can makes a negative point on her acting skills. Guggu Gill , Harish Verma, Roshan Prince can’t be forget for their characters. Rajvir Jawanda and Kulwinder billa make their debut in pollywood with movie. Low acting experience shows somewhere overall they are also good.

Music & direction:

Punjabi industry have less souces and budget than bollywood. But with limited sources and budget Simerjit Singh shows that not big budget needed for a blockbuster. Just a good subject and creative mind required. Simerjit Singh has successfully shown how hard the life of a soldier is. The film’s scenes are a mixture of bone-tickling comic elements, enthralling war sequences, the softness of the budding love between characters and more.

Songs of this movie you already listen on all Radio, Tv Channels and also on youtube. Sandese Aate Hain’s punjabi version “Chithiyan” is much loved track by audience. beside songs movie’s toatlly music is very good according to the situations.
